Body Condition: I use to work for Andy Granatelli as a Manager in one of his Auto Service Shops here as a Fine Tune Specialist. My employment was based on attending mandatory Power Train Classes Training Course in All the Fields for Proficiency in ALL Makes Power Trains for Peak Power & Fuel Efficiency to Customers/Consumers. Existing Power Train has Approx 18,000 Miles, as stated then used as a Weekend Driver to the Lake & Back total Trip 70 Miles. T/A since Factory out of Business is Now a Classic along with Antique Category
Best of My Knowledge I am the 2nd owner, Purchased T/A in Oct of 1981 these Systems were upgraded in a Front to Rear Power Train Overhaul, Ignition Distributor is New along with a Accel Super Coil with Cap & Rotor, a Electronic ignition Module is available that is in trunk. Overhauled approx 1990 consist of 403 Engine was a New Purchase from Factory, Modified–Edlebrock Aluminum Intake, Brand New OEM Rochester Carburetor heat Tube to Electric Choke which made a World of Difference, Cooling System upgraded from OEM 3 Core to 4 Core Radiator, A/C converted over to 134 A plus 2 Pull Electric Fans with On/Off Switch on Console, Fan Switch on Dashboard only works on Low & Medium, Hi does not but have New Fan Switch in the Box to Solve this, I use a 12 v Socket Pug in Fan that takes the place of Hi Setting but again I have the new Fan Switch that I will place in Glover Box, Alternator Replaced from OEM 65 Amp to a 140 Amp brought Vehicle’s Electrical System & Engine to Life, Accel Spark Plugs, new Spark Plug Wires at Overhaul, Due to 100 % Pure Coolant this eliminates Water Pump/Heater Core & Block Rust Prevention as does the New Oil change with No Miles before storing, Brakes Bled but may need Bleed again to due Sitting, Rear Posi-Trac has New Bearings & Axles & Filled with Synthetic Gear Fluid, Brakes overhauled with Power Train Overhual, have set of Coil Over Springs Shock Absorber’s New in the Box front & rear. Existing Ft Shocks OK, rear Air Shocks are Deflated preparing to install new ones but decided to Store Vehicle instead, Free Flow Headers connect into Galvanized True Dual Exhaust System into Flowmasters with Single Tip on each side out back, after numerous Chrome Tip Replacements galvanized Tips were the way to go, altogether makes for a Deep Throaty Sound that Turns Heads, all these upgrades alone Accomplished Reaching the Peak Volumeric Efficiency Ratio for a Balance Intake to Exhaust Proficiency, Catalytic Converters were next on list for Upgrade but again decided to store Vehicle instead, Goal of up grades was to take quirks that were discovered with any older muscle car eliminating them enabling Vehicle to Meet & Endure Today’s Extreme Heat & Cold Situations while staying close as possible to Stock for Longevity, Dependability, Reliability and Efficiency but staying as close to stock as Possible, Since this Vehicle in already a beast Stock was the Way to Go and Is why it is Still Around and will be for Years to come. Even with it being Faded due to Time It Attracted attention like you would Not Believe PS headlights are the Halogens as OEM were not plus has low profile Highway lights under the front nose, one is out replacements available at parts store on/off switch under dash, Top Air Filter Lid replaced with K&N Mesh Filter for top of Carbueretor intake of air & Round Air filter is Fram. Tires at time of Storing were fairly new and only had Lake trip Miles ( Deep Tread ) but due to age must check for Reliabilit. Wheel are Centerlines and were upgraded to accomplish 8 inch Width at Tire Bead, Honey Combs only had a 7 inch Width, made a Difference and Enhanced Handling does have a set of Wheel Locks with Key, T/A has Window Etching,
T/A is equipped with Anti-Theft Alarm and set to Full Sensitivity, Remotes may need new battries, Car Will Need new Car Battery and Fresh Premium Gas but will run and was Safe & Dependable when Stored. To best of my Memory so far this is all I can Think of. I was a Stikler for care and up keep but it has been sitting & just needs someone who can devote giving it some TLC. There is no sense it letting it sit when someone can enjoy it. I was Stopped at a light in my Beautiful ’95 Supercharged Luxury Riviera and had a Cargo Truck Slam into me and can no longer take care of this last of the Short Stroke Big Bore V-8’s Please give it a Good Inside Home .
