Seller’s Description: This Mercedes-Benz 380 SL is finished in the rare color of petrol blue (877) over beige interior. This is a very clean, virtually rust free example, however upon careful inspection some paint work is noted at the front. Being an early 80s SL, this is still a single timing chain car, and has one noisy lifter, both of which are reflected in the asking price. The two repairs can be attended to at the same time, and will be ready for another 80k + miles. The brown soft top is present, but requires replacement due to tears in the regularly places. Accompanied by its tool roll, as well as books / manuals, this is a “modern classic” that offers the right person a wonderful opportunity. This 380SL come with a clean Carfax and this fall has covered 1,500 miles driven by the principal of the company.
