BF Classified: 1982 Mercury LN7 Survivor

SOLD

Location: Franklin Square, NY
Title Status: Clean

Seller’s Description: 1982 Mercury LN7 1.6 with a 4-speed manual. Two-seater. The LN7 was in production for only 2 years (1982 and 1983), with about 40,000 LN7s were made. This car is a very late 1982 production. Bought from 92 year old who purchased the car in 1983 as the 1st titled owner. Ms. Doris traded in her 1973 Capri to acquire the LN7. The car was initially used by the dealer, Marion Ford Mercury, for the car’s first year. Ms. Doris drove the car to her job and for shopping. Over the car’s 32 years, it acquired 130k miles. Ms. Doris was meticulous with the car’s maintenance and she kept most of the service records. The car survived her 3 name changes and presumably 3 husbands until she reluctantly departed with her true love.

The car is a good daily driver. Factory options: air conditioning, sunroof, power steering, and AMFM cassette. Original worn paint – Midnight Blue Metallic. Never hit or in accidents. The Interior is in good shape for mileage and age, as the driver seat is worn. Solid dash pad. Floors and undercarriage are rust-free. Only rust is on the lower right fender. Have a mint repurposed right fender. You can restore or chase groceries like Ms. Doris.
