This car was bought at Santa Cruz British and Suburu in Mid 1985
It has had one owner it’s whole life and been kept under a cover in Aptos Ca its whole life.
The owner recently passed away at age 92 and the car went through probate and is titled to the trustee
The owner has kept meticulous records of every single thing done to the car. A 3 inch binder of records that includes both window stickers and all records from 1985.
The car is super clean and runs perfectly, everything works on it. The interior is excellent. It’s fires right up from a cold start and the turbo is very strong.
This car was kept close to the beach in Aptos so it has light surface rust on a couple of panels. No rot or anything like that. All the door jams and underneath the car look really nice.
I consider this car a barn find. Which is great, but that also means that some maintenance will be required. It runs well and I would drive 400 miles without issue. It recently got a tuneup to pass smog and is ready for a new owner.
