This truck was purchased new at Brown’s Chevy in Mesa AZ and remained there until 2016 when I purchased it from the original owner. It had 57K on the clock. He told me it was always garaged and had never been out of the Greater Phoenix area (The Valley) and I have kept it that way.
Very good, unmolested, original condition. Absolutely rust-free. All documentation since new. Receipts for warranty repairs, cassette installation, maintenance, and emission inspections are included in the large packet of records. Since 2016 I have kept a record of repairs and maintenance. Those repairs include trans service, fuel pump, and lines, window regulators, power lock actuators, brake proportioning valve, door seals, headliner, etc. There are no signs of any paint or body repairs. It drives as if it was ’87 again. It has surprisingly good handling and braking for a truck of that era. On the downside, the paint is a little thin on the top surfaces and there are 2 small cracks on the dash originating at the corner of the speaker grills. This truck is not perfect. It has normal wear but presents very well.
