Seller’s Description: 1987 Dodge Ram 1500 Short Box two-wheel drive. Power steering and brakes, heater. I acquired this truck from a Federal government agency in southern Alabama. It had been in service at the Little Texas rural fire station in Little Texas, Alabama, and yes it’s a real place, look it up! It was sold to me as miles ( 61k) being actual and the body reflects that low mileage. Also, the speedo and odometer were working when I received the truck. The truck runs, drives and shifts very well, the motor is quiet even when first started and it starts well also. I did clean the fuel tank and install a new sender, I also did a few other repairs but the drivetrain needed no repairs. I have attached some underbody pictures. The wipers are not working, the linkage is broken (maybe?). This truck is roadworthy at present, I have driven it on several 20 miles trips on the interstate, usually about 65 mph and it does great.
