BF Classified: 1987 Mazda 323 Station Wagon

Seller’s Description: This a 1987 Mazda 323 Station Wagon with a stick shift.

The car has been in storage for the last 16 years. My friend is a car collector and bought this car in 1991 to use to drive around the Bay Area and to College. He has owned the car ever since. He later went on to own a body shop in San Francisco and had the car completely disassembled and painted its original color. It has never been in any type of accident and runs very well and is super fun to drive.

After the 16 years of non-operation, the car passed smog with no issues and needed some reassembly of the bumpers and some seals. At this time, I flushed the brake fluid, coolant, oil, did the timing belt and tensioner, and valve cover gasket. I also put on Tokico struts, Vogtland lowering springs, New Enkei Enkie92 15×6 wheels with new Hankook tires.

The interior is clean with no smells or major issues. There is no power steering or A/c

The car also has a new Pioneer Bluetooth stereo, Alpine amp, four aftermarket speakers, and a Bazooka subwoofer. It really has a great sound to it. I installed Porsche floor mats and a New Old stock Mahogany GT steering wheel.

It is a really fun, reliable car. Please contact me for more information or a walk around video.

The Enkei wheels and other tasteful mods make this neat little wagon look great. Hope it finds a good new home.

Nice job. I grew up driving a GLC stick shift sedan. This is a unicon. My advice would be to ditch the Porsche floormats (color is uggh) and see if you can source vintage Mazda or something more discrete. Everything else is good (wheels!) And you should have no problem getting this price

    Thanks, Achman

I just had those Mats left over from another car, they are Metropol blue and they came close to fitting. It’s tough to find any non essential parts for this car. Regular engine parts to keep the car running is super easy to find and very inexpensive

It has an aftermarket muffler on it that makes it really fun to drive. Starts right up at cold start and is surprisingly quick! it get’s way more thumbs up than any of my fancier cars.

My wife had a 323 hatchback when we met. It became my winter beater so I could park the Z/28. The FWD and skinny all-season tires made that thing plow through snow – unbelievable.

It was still running great when it was time to pass it on, got practically nothing for it.
