BF Classified: 1987 Nissan 300ZX 2+2

Seller’s Description: This Z is in very good condition inside and out. It has never been driven in the winter so it has no rust. The exterior is silver and the interior is dark blue. We are the second owners; we purchased the vehicle in 1994 and it has been garaged most of that time. It has factory T-Tops and most options available for 1987. It is not a turbo engine though. It runs very well, transmission and clutch in good condition and it has been well maintained; we have all the service records. The driver side window needs weather striping. We change the oil every 1000 miles and do general maintenance at that time.
The interior is in good shape some of the vinyl around the rear strut cases need TLC but the rest is in good shape. Would make a perfect car to restore but it’s perfectly fine to drive the way it is now.

At 30 bucks an oil change, 299 of them would cost $8970. The seller is just trying to get his oil-change money back!!! :-) :-)

At 30 bucks a pop, the $8,900 asking price will just about cover the cost of the 299 oil changes. One more thought, this car is 33 year old so the 299,000 miles averages out to around only 9,000 about miles a year, not a lot for a modern car. I’d say this shows how important regular oil changes and garage storage are in keeping a car in good running order. Also with that 1,000-mile change interval I’ll bet regular oil (not synthetic) was used.
