Seller’s Description: A well cared for classic Chevy sport vans professionally converted into a camper van before being purchased by its first owner. Purchased by its second and current owner in 2003 with 45K miles on the Odometer. Now being offered as no longer needed for its intended purpose.
in 2003 the radiator was replaced. Since then the following items have been replaced or applied: Alternator, AC Compressor, Ziebart undercoating, CB radio, radio, dash radio speakers, shocks, switch panel for interior lighting reconfigured with new switches and labels added, gas tank fuel strainer, door weather stripping, passenger electric window motor, windshield washer motor, blind spot mirrors added, front wheel bearings replaced, transmission serviced & drain plug to pan added, starter motor, spark plugs at 75K, rear differential serviced, new larger rims and tires. Tire size and unused spare are currently Michelin P235/75R15. There are pull down pleated blinds and curtains.
Track was added to the right side and rear roof to attach Sunbrella awnings for extended stays. A wooden removable tray table was added between the driver and passenger seats. It is stored beneath the bed in the rear. The rear bench seat electrically folds out into a bed.
In excellent running condition. The tires do need to be replaced not because of wear but because of age. They are over ten years old. The AC compressor was replace a couple of years ago but there is a leak in the system someplace which needs to be found and fixed. Just haven’t taken the time to get that done. The motors which control the movement of the driver and passenger seats need to be replaced. I don’t think they can be repaired.
The vehicle has been converted to LED lighting. For the most part it has been kept under a carport or in a garage.
