Seller’s Description: 1990 Dodge W-250 – OVERBORED – NEW CUMMINS MOTOR – 12 MONTH WARRANTY
The 1990 W-250 3/4 Ton Pickup came with a true hi-lo locking transfer case, manually locking front hubs, and the 3-speed Allison transmission that was more bulletproof than the later, overdrive model. It was shipped with the inline-six 5.9 Cummins turbodiesel, which was the basis for this rebuild.
This 1990 Dodge W-250 has had a complete, ground-up engine rebuild by Craig’s Performance of Twin Falls. The motor was taken down to the bare block, given a hot oil bath, and machined, boring the cylinders out to 6.1L. Everything on the motor is new except for the crankshaft- New pistons, head, valves, water pump, timing gears, oil pump, fuel pump, fuel lines, injectors, camshaft. Craig will honor a 12-month warranty starting 3/2023 on the engine and radiator.
The radiator was replaced with an improved, cross-flow radiator that was a later improvement on the vertical-flow stock model, with trans cooler in the radiator.

The Good:
This is a farm truck that has done work. It ain’t no trailer queen. It had more than 250k on it when it was rebuilt, and the current motor has less than 100 miles on it. It was repainted in John Deere Blue, and features the following extras:
3″ lift including an add-a-leaf in the rear with new shocks
Yellow top deep-cycle Optima battery
Commercial-grade starter
Glow-shift boost gauge with pyrometer and trans temp
Four newish Hercules Terra-Trac tires with 3/8″ tread and two full size spares
