Seller’s Description: This low mileage single owner car was bought as an employee at a Ford dealership and was factory ordered with all available options. The car has never been winter driven and has been stored in a heated garage. This rare survivor only has 11,000 miles (17,600 km) and is available with the original window sticker and other factory order documentation. As life happens…. Kids, career, time, money all led to the car being in storage and rarely driven over the past 29 years. The car is being sold to make room for a factory ordered GT350R.
1990 Ford Mustang GT (5.0L V8 with 5 speed manual transmission) in black with black cloth interior. The vehicle is equipped with power windows/locks/mirrors, sunroof, air conditioning, cruise control, and factory AM/FM/cassette stereo (including a rare late availability cassette holder/arm rest). The air conditioning is not working as it has lost its charge, but otherwise the car is in good condition. The paint is in good condition though there are some paint defects, but being a black car it is difficult to capture them well in photographs. The vehicle has a clean Carfax report.
The vehicle has the Ford Racing 5 lug 4 wheel disc brake upgrade installed along with upgraded control arms front and rear, polyurethane bushings, camber plates, etc. The car has been lowered ~ 1.5” using Ford Racing spring and Koni shocks. The rear end gears have been changed from 3.08 to 3.55 and a BBK cold air intake has been installed. The stock mufflers have been replaced with Flowmaster mufflers and tailpipes. The car rides on Cobra R 5 spoke wheels and Toyo Proxy R1R tires. Most of the original parts removed for these upgrades are included with the vehicle, allowing the purchaser to restore the car to original if so desired. Packaging and shipping of these parts is the purchaser’s responsibility.
The purchaser has the option to also buy (at an extra cost of $7500) an extensive collection of upgrade parts that are new in box and never installed. Parts include i.e. heads, cam, intake, headers, catted x-pipe, injectors, gasket set, custom ECU, radiator, etc. Some parts are rare and out of production Ford Racing parts such as the highly desirable tubular GT40 intake manifold. Packaging and shipping of these parts is the purchaser’s responsibility.
The car is located in Calgary, Alberta where the buyer is to pick up. Shipping of the vehicle is purchaser’s responsibility.
