Seller’s Description: Welcome to my listing. This is for a 1992 Toyota MR2. Please see the photos. I have had the car for over two years now and have not found any time to work on it. Therefore, I might as well sell it. Not that it needs a lot of work, but I bought it to give me some minor items to work on.
It has an automatic transmission. It is not the turbo model. Factory sunroof. About 145,000 miles. It runs and drives however, it will need a new water pump. I have had three different mechanics look at it and they all say the same thing – that funny noise is coming from the water pump bearing. The parts are easily available from Rock Auto for less than $100.
Although the photos show the car with the headlights both up and down, recently the headlights will not pop up. I do not know why. The AC compressor has been removed however I have it to include with the car. I do not know why it was removed. Also included is an aftermarket front strut brace, a cold air intake (I have the original air boxes if you want to reinstall them) and perhaps I can find more stuff for it that will be included.
I am an MR2 guy and own a 1989 Supercharged MR2. These cars are special to me. The market for these cars continues to rise. Please see the photos. The car was repainted some time ago and the paint is holding up nicely. I do have some service records on the car. A previous owner installed the aftermarket wheels, Nitto tires, slotted rotors, etc. Please see the photos.
I have the car in dry storage in a friend’s garage. I start it every couple of weeks to keep things going. This car has not been sitting out in the weather.
