Seller’s Description: Drivable 93 Mustang convertible project. Have owned for approximately two years – and have done the following: replaced heater core inside the dash, replaced inoperable speedometer (odometer was working and accurate), replaced instrument pod lens cover, replaced steering wheel, installed TMI upholstery kit front buckets and rear bench seats, installed sound/heat barrier foil in the cabin and trunk floors, recovered rear interior corner panels, installed new carpet, installed cup-holder center console, installed new door mirrors, installed new motor mounts, installed a new fan and fan clutch, installed new driver door hinge pins/bushing. Installed new taillight and headlight assemblies. The car has five-lug wheels with I believe ’94 Mustang wheels. Tires have 90% tread remaining. Car runs and drives – but brakes need bleeding as pedal feels mushy. The engine has Hooker Headers and nice tailpipe assembly – but is louder than stock. Body damage on passenger door and rear panel. Prior owner spray-painted sections of the body – looks OK from 20 feet. Rust in passenger A-pillar (believe this is from missing windshield trim rubber. Rust on the trunk lid. NO other rust was found outside, inside, or underside of the car. All gauges/instruments work, power top works, passenger side power window does not work, A/C does not work, no radio/stereo system. Replaced window, door, trunk rubber seals/gaskets. The convertible top looks to be original – weathertight – but looking its age. Work to be done – Needs shocks and struts, needs A/C repaired, brakes need attention, Do not buy thinking you can drive it cross-country, suggest trailering it home if you live outside Charlotte metro area. The car needs a mechanic/owner to continue fixing it up. Selling to focus on RV.
