Seller’s Description: Looking to sell my above-average condition Chevy truck.

Truck has 210k miles. Original 5.7L engine and 4-speed auto trans, original interior, new paint job in 2017. Factory tow package. Runs great. AC blows cold. Glasspack exhaust. All power windows and locks work as they should. The only thing on it that doesn’t work is the factory cassette deck (there’s a tape stuck in it that will not come out). The radio and graphic EQ work fine. This truck has every option that you could get on a 2wd Chevy in 1994. It has the Silverado trim package, which was the top of the line trim on the GMT-400 generation truck. Silverado did not become a model designation until the introduction of the GMT-800 line in 1999. Body is laser-straight perfect. There is not a single dent, ding, or rust spot anywhere. Interior is near-perfect. No rips, tears, or stains in upholstery. No cracks on dash. All trim present and accounted for.

In the last 2 years I’ve replaced brakes on all 4 corners (rotors and pads on front, shoes on rear). New front wheel bearings. New u-joints. New starter. New plugs, wires, and distributor cap. New fuel filter. New serpentine belt. Oil and filter changed every 5k miles (just done 2 weeks ago). Chrome open-element air filter (I have the original air filter housing and tubing as well). I also have the original GM rubber floor mats and original owner’s manual. Just replaced pitman arm and steering idler arm along with a front end alignment. The rest of the front suspension and steering was inspected by Quality Tire Shop in N. Chattanooga when the work was done. It got a clean bill of health. The tech and service writer were blown away by the condition of this old Chevy. Rear tires are brand new Goodyears, front tires are 80%.

It does have a slight oil leak from the valve cover gasket on the driver’s side.

This truck really drives nice, especially with the recent front end work done. It has been my daily driver for the past 2.5 yrs and I’ve really enjoyed it. I still really enjoy it, just ready for something different. I’m a car guy thru and thru, and I’ve got that itch to to get something new-to-me and different. All in all, the exterior is 9/10 and interior is 8.5/10. This is an all original, 26 year old survivor. You will not find one nicer for this price. I get comments all the time on the condition of this truck.

Mileage will continue to go up, as this is my daily driver. If there is anything in particular that you want to see, just text me and ask. I would like to sell it but I don’t have to sell it, so please do not waste my time, or yours, with low-ball offers. There are plenty of $1500 basket case trucks out there on Craigslist, but this is not one of them. I am open to trades of similar value, preferably something sporty with 4 seats and a manual transmission (E46, E39, or E36 BMWs from the 90s or very early 00s come to mind. High mileage doesn’t scare me. With old cars, maintence is much more important than mileage). Thank you for reading and God Bless.

I’ve got a clean TN title, in my name, in hand.
