Seller’s Description: We’ve downsized, and no longer have room for one of our babies, so this is your chance to own a very collectable car, and a piece of Pontiac history. Pontiac celebrated the 25th anniversary of the fabled Trans Am with 2000 specially badged and equipped cars. Of the 2000 “25th Anniversary” Trans Ams only 250 were convertibles. Of that 250 only 51 came with cassette decks; this is one of 51. All of the Anniversary cars came equipped with the LT1 engine (279hp @ 5400rpm & 340 ft-lb torque @ 3500rpm), and all convertibles came equipped with automatic transmissions. While not a true muscle car, it does have “snappy” acceleration; a quarter mile speed of 99mph in 14.2 seconds and a computer controlled top speed of 152mph. The car has been collector owned it’s entire life, we are only the 3rd owners. It has been garage kept, and used only as a club/event car going on club cruises and to shows.
