The first year of the new style after a shut down of one year. 1995 to 1999 were virtually the same.
1999 was the last production year of the Riviera.
I am the second owner and have owned it since 2010. I have put approx. 17861 mi. on it in 11 yrs.
The vehicle has never seen winter under my ownership and is rust-free. Undercover when not driven.
It has Michelin tires which I installed new when I acquired the car. Tons of tread left and sidewalls are as new.
The spare donut tire has never been out of the trunk since new.
The vehicle is painted two-tone …light teal and dark teal(both 95 Riviera factory colors)…. 95 Rivieras only came from the factory in one color. This one came in light teal and I had the dark teal combination added. The wood panel dash veneer is a Buick after-market option. I had the trunk spoiler added as a non-Buick after-market option. The wide stainless steel rocker panel cover (wheel well to wheel well) was custom made in California and is also a non-Buick aftermarket option
It comes with a Rainex car cover ( inside or outside ). I have a few spare parts that also come with it. The original manual is with the car. I have maintenance records back to 2012. I also have a Buick Promotional Package introducing the 95 which includes an 8 track tape and two-color brochures (with paint codes). I have an appraisal from a licensed appraiser dated 2012. I just obtained the Service Ontario used car package which includes a lot of pertinent info.
The engine is GM’s bulletproof 3.8 liter V6 with a supercharger which was an option. I put a smaller pulley on the supercharger for a little extra boost (mid-range). I replaced the stock breather with a K & N breather system. I replaced the original exhaust with 2.5-inch pipes directly from the catalytic (no resonators ) flowing into 2 Magnaflow mufflers. I put two Corvette exhaust tips on just for fun. They look good. The system gives off a nice low growl. I have a video so if interested I can send it to you. You have never heard a V6 Riv like this one.
Because it is a luxury Buick it has all the bells and whistles of a vehicle 26 yrs old. It has a concert sound AM/FM radio with a cassette tape ( and has storage for tapes ). CDs weren’t around yet. It works good and I have some cassettes that I will throw in. A/C works well… as does the cruise control.
All power accessories work … windows, 6-way seats, door locks, aerial ( in passenger rear fender), outside rearview mirrors, inside automatic mirror, trunk release, and fuel door release.
Comes with silk Buick headrest covers (for shows)

Just noticed that the hood struts were weak so I had them both replaced ( June 24 /21 )
Oil change not due until 112300.
Brakes were done less than 2000 mi. ago ….rotors and pads ( top of the line )
New battery (under the rear seat) installed less than a year ago.
