Largest Swap Meet In The Southeast

Who doesn’t love a good swap meet? It can be a great chance to buy parts for a project or even buy a complete project. And even if you aren’t in the market to buy, they can be a blast to just walk around and have a look at all the random stuff! Reader David C stopped by the Moultrie Swap Meet over the weekend and he thought he better share some of his discoveries. It looks like a fun event and it’s huge, so if you happen to find yourself in Moultrie, Georgia on February 2nd or 3rd, you might want to stop by and take a look!

From David – I thought my fellow readers of Barn Finds might find this interesting. I went with a few friends this last Saturday to the Moultrie, Ga. swap meet which is a 3 day
event. It takes place on the grounds of an old airport and encompasses 50 acres and thousands of cars for sale and millions of parts of all kinds. Needless to say it is overwhelming! Everything was “For Sale” and there were hundreds of great deals. I’ve enclosed a small sample of some of the eye candy.

Our thanks to David for sharing his photos with us! If any of you have attended the Moultrie Swap Meet, we’d love to hear about it. And if you know of any upcoming events worth visiting, please let us know about them!

Nice and thanks for taking the time. On other sites the sale price/phone # is include in the pictures. Good way to tell what stuff is selling for where ever.

I went Saturday as well. Been going every year for the last 13 years. Last year Ted Vernon from the South Beach Cars TV show was even there with a few cars. I will the pictures I took to this site…….

Silly me, I thought the 4 day TURKEY RUN at Daytona Speedway this weekend was the largest car swap meet in the Southeast.

Looks more like a car show and not a swap meet. I would rather see a table or spot of parts, than restored cars. I can go to car shows anywhere.

Hey Dave…….the swap meet side is larger than the car show portion. I spent from 8:00am to 1:30pm just in the swap meet side alone. It’s pretty impressive. I posted one of my favorite trucks, original and clear coated….

Need to go one day but the swap meet at. Daytona Rod Run can not be covered in one full day. Then there are the cars for sale or being shown.

Been there many times. There’s everything. Parts, barn finds, restorations, pure junk, and much more. Something for every garage.

Made my choices & they are 14, 16 & 21, can anyone tell me what car 21 is it’s just beautiful to my eyes, 14 & 16 I’m pretty sure they are both Mercury coupés, like the Blue one as it’s not a black one like a lot I seem to see!? Most of the rest seem to be too rich for my blood, but hopefully someone gets a good deal on their dream car.
