We hope you all had a great Thanksgiving full of family, good food and fun! We sure did! Now that the turkey is cold and our stomach are still trying to recover, we thought everyone might enjoy a fun game to keep you busy from the comfort of your computer or recliner, or where ever else you enjoy browsing Barn Finds from! Robert recently spotted this collection of photos here on Picasa of what appears to be a massive classic car grave yard. Seeing as these cars are covered in moss and other plant life, we thought you guys might enjoy the challenge of trying to identify these classics! More photos below.
So the rules of the game are pretty simple, just list in order your best guesses for the make model and year of each of the cars posted below. Each photo in the gallery is numbered, so if you can’t identify every single one, just list the ones you do know starting with the image’s number and then your guess! Be sure to leave your guesses in the comments and we will see who knows their classics the best. Also, no one likes a cheater, so no cheating! And if everyone has a good time with this game, we will be sure to do it again in the near future (there are another 200 more photos of this place). So, let the game begin! Good luck!

i see ivy, spiders, mice, and snakes. in the photos on the other site i see falcons, mustang, and a packard.
this has to be Oregon or western Washington, I have spent years looking at cars in this setting. I would also guess this is the west side of the Cascade / I-5 near the rain forest. This will reduce a car to the frame and the frame just takes alittle longer.
If a tree falls on a ’54 Savoy, and there’s nobody there to hear it, is this place some kind of environmental hazard?.
I can’t do much else than gaze at these moss covered cars and wonder what their story is, who put them there and then what happened to that guy. Did he get tired of dealing with old cars that had little value years ago? Did he sell the property and the next guy didn’t want to deal with them either? Did anyone move, or die?
I think ron t is right. This is probably the Pacific NW near the coast and not likely the high plains of WA, or British Columbia either—the cars are all US and not Euro or Japanese.
What a fantastic find, Robert. Thanks!
I need a romp in a place like this in the WA/OR area.–in the other pix online I see a ’57-8 Suburban Station Wagon and a Savoy fin of those exner years–I need the steering wheel off of one of these to replace the one that came in my CA desert car.

Get the rust-free shells from the desert, the stainless trim, glass and interior plastic from the Pacific Northwest. I’d even slide the desert steering wheel back into the hull to keep it “complete”.
oregon plates on #10 and #19. Definitely western Oregon. i was driven past a salvage yard like this along the Columbia River west of Portland maybe 10 years ago. The yard was closed, but for sale for something like a million dollars. I was told the owner was tired of dealing with the obvious environmental situation he had on his hands, so he closed up. Parts of the yard were not fenced…cars just scattered on either side of the road…albeit in advanced state of decay.
My kind of a jungle! I’ve often dreamed of exploring the jungles in the Philippines and finding something like this full of Japanese WWII goodies! ^_^
I…I want to pressure wash all of them.
It would be soooo satisfying, oh my god.
It’s gotta be the Olympic Peninsula in Washington, maybe somewhere near Aberdeen or Forks. Just looking at the photos gives me a sinus headache . . . there’s a reason I live in New Mexico now!!
What a waste.
This is one of the saddest things I’ve seen; most of the time, I see potential in a junk yard, but not this one. Rust everywhere. But I guess if you tried real hard, you could see it as art; nature and machines coming together.
I don’t want to sell any parts, or cars. Some day I’m going to restore them !
Where do we send the dumb shxt mail
Love the pics, hate that they were left to such waist. But when all the ugly humans die off, this is what Mother Nature will do to her planet.
This has to be Rusting Junker State park in Wetwood, Oregon…
