If you are looking for a car to rival the Roadkill Rotsun, look no further than this 1972 Datsun 240Z. This car does have a lot of rot, and rust, along with no documented miles and no VIN listed. Thankfully it does have a claimed clear title. It is located near Auburn, Georgia and the current price has reached $2,127 by 21 bidders with no indicated reserve. Clearly, this car is not going to be winning Pebble Beach, but it might have a shot at the 24 hours of Lemons. You can view more on eBay.

The engine is said to turn over, but the seller has not tried starting it. It has sat for a number of years now but as you can see in the photo, the engine is one of the best looking parts of the car. Even though it has remained indoors during its storage, it has accumulated a lot of rust. A few areas that need attention are the rear quarter panels and around the trunk and doors. The seller says that the frame is able to be saved but no photo evidence is provided of that.

Inside is where this car officially gets off the charts. There are missing trim pieces everywhere, the seats are destroyed, the dash is cracked, and the floors will need to be replaced. You can see the ignition just dangling, but you shouldn’t have to worry about theft, there is a manual transmission with no knob to be your theft deterrent. This car is at the point where it is best to start over.

The seller offers in their ad to perform the metalwork and replace the floors for an additional charge. That could be a huge reason why the bid price is so low because maybe someone wants the work to be done in house upon purchase. That route might be more money than what it is worth. With all the interior issues, it might just be fun to make this a track toy. Get it running and safe, and just have a good time.
