Cadillac’s Second Generation DeVille range graced showroom floors from 1961 until 1964. Our feature car is a 4-door Sedan DeVille Hardtop, a popular choice in 1964. The company produced 110,396 examples of the DeVille across all body styles, with 39,674 buyers selecting the 4-window Sedan variant. Its presentation is impressive, with the owner confirming it received a repaint in Aspen White at some point. I had almost this exact car in high school(’74-’75). Except mine was a silver blue with same interior and same options. It was in almost as good of condition as this one, paid $385 dollars for it. Back then it was a 10 year old Caddie nobody really wanted. Definitely one I should have kept, but if I kept all of the cars I should have I wouldn’t have any place to put them.
Wow, never thought of a 64 DeVille being “almost exactly” like a 74-75 DeVille. With the exception of both models having skirts I don’t see those particular models being “almost exact” Just to mention as well the 74 had the traditional round headlights as the 75 had the new for the 70’s rectangular headlights.
It was in 1974 (when I was in high school) that I bought my 1964 DeVille.
If the owner replaced the front seat covers six years ago, it must have been a rough six years. The dye has worn off the top of the seat back, and the leather has more wear than expected.
You are right!! It was the back seat that was replaced, not the front!!! Sorry for the confusion!

Beautiful looking Cadillac. 1962 and 1964 are my favourite years for the car. It’s always awesome to see an original survivor that’s been cared for throughout its life.
Dad was a Cadillac Man. He owned two ‘64s. A Sedan deVille and a Fleetwood. Both 429/4 speed Hydramatic. Cadillac called it City/Country Drive. (There’s a lot of “info” floating around on the Interweb about the transmission(s) used in these cars. Half of it is wrong- good luck figuring out which half). The Sedan deVille had 472 heads and two mufflers- the two resonators were removed. I was in high school at the time, and let me just say that car surprised a lot of people…

Very optimistic asking price check Google for 1964 Cadillac in original mint condition they can be had for 24k, that’s original not a repaint or needing interior work most cads where treated with respect and garage kept a good starting place for restoration
