Seller’s Description: 1966 Ford Fairlane 500 Station Wagon.98 % complete and original “390” engine C6 transmission 9 inch rear diff. Engine starts and runs well. No smoke or noises. Transmission shifts smoothly.
Interior is all original and needs some repair.
Small amount of rust in rear tailgate, drivers side and passenger floor pans needed. They are cheap to buy, easy repair. First 2 photos are current in Hawaii, the rest were in Idaho (on Barn Finds).
This was an Idaho car and rust there is usually very minimal.
All glass is original in good shape and regulators work well. Rear window motor does work( had to use a power probe to operate it) Switch was not working.
Tailgate does open in both directions.
Did have the fuel tank repaired and installed a new sending unit so fuel gauge works. Replaced fuel pump and installed a new carb kit as well. Did a complete brake job (New Master cyl,wheel cylinders/brake shoes/spring kit/ wheel bearings/brake hoses & lines / Machined brake drums. New windshield wiper motor/horn/turn signal relay/horn ring. New thermostat and housing, new radiator hose. ’68 Torino GT Wheels w/good radial w/w tires.
Car has been safety checked so everything working, current Hawaii license. Have too many projects and no place to park.
