If you love big-finned Cadillacs, you might just want to give Philip D’s Caddy a closer look. A restoration was started years ago but never finished. After spending some time parked outside a body and paint shop, it’s going to need work, but could be a cool project! If you’d love to take on this coupe, you can message Philip via the form below. The car is currently located in McMinnville, Oregon with an asking price of $3,287.
Asking Price: $3,287

Seller’s Description: This is an older restoration that fell on hard times. The car runs and drives. It recently had a complete brake job and a new water pump installed.
Body Condition: The car had the windows broken by kids. It sat outside the body shop after paint, so it now has overspray. The front footwells have some rust because of the broken glass. The car needs a total redo.
Mechanical Condition: The car runs and drives and is complete.
So, what do you think of this entry-level Cadillac? It looks to be quite complete and could be a fairly simple project to get back on the road. But does the fact that it isn’t the DeVille trim level hurt the value? Or does that make it more interesting?

This is one of the cleanest and nicest looking Cadillac’s ever produced. Nice clean uncluttered side panels, Hood and trunk without a lot of typical extra chrome junk hanging on the front and rear of the car. Its a shame the present owner didn’t,t think to move the car to a safer area after the vandalism occurred and protected the damage to the interior with at least a strapped on tarpaulin It would have saved a lot of interior damage. It makes you wonder what people are thinking other than common sense.
So let’s get this straight. Sat at paint shop had windows broken but owner left it there and never fixed windows? No plexus glass or plastic to tape?
So floors still look salvageable but question one was willing to paint but windows broken not a concern 😮
It makes little sense to most of us, but peoples financial situations sometimes take a sudden change for the worse. I’m assuming that’s what happened here. $3287 is a rather odd asking price don’t ya think? Probably the shop bill for the paint and body work. If the owner suddenly fell on hard times and owed them 3 grand I doubt he’d be wanting to swing by to cover the windows. Was probably ducking the bill. Seems like the owner took an unexpected hit to the wallet and is just trying to pay a debt to me.
Even if the guy owed them money the owner or employees of the shop could have at least put some plastic wrap or contractor bags over the windows! Then again maybe they were worried about the tape damaging the paint they had just put on?
Shame either way, but it’s a beautiful car and the price seems more than fair. Floors require a lot less skill (hence $) to repair than say rockers or quarters.
All that and no air. Old church raffle car.
I have seen more Calias’ here than during the years I went to Cadillac shows.
I wonder why.
I’d buy this car for my girlfriend, since 1967 was her birth year.
Wow. Nice coupe ruined.
