EXCLUSIVE: 1969 Dodge Super Bee

When reader Walter M found this Super Bee over 20 years ago, it was in pieces. After a few years of work, he was able to get put back together, but more importantly back on the road! It looks to be in beautiful condition inside and out. It’s time to part ways with it though, so if you’ve been on the hunt for a turn-key Super Bee, be sure to message Walter via the form below!

Asking Price: $37,000
Location: Swanton, Ohio
Mileage: 52,000
Title Status: Clean
VIN: WM23H9A275140

Seller’s Description: Well, it’s a Mopar! I have owned this Super Bee for 20 years plus. When I got it, it was just a body on a frame. It took about 4 years to put together. Since then I have replaced the lower rear quarter panels and added new stripe about 8 years ago. I believe the color is original. I replaced all the bushings and ball joints. It’s not a six-pack car. I don’t have the original hood. When I purchased it, it had a six pack hood.

Body Condition: Excellent paint. Interior very good. No rust.

Mechanical Condition: It’s equipped with a 383 V8 and a 4-speed. Drum brakes all around. Runs and drives, but just needs a new home.

Our thanks to Walter for listing his Mopar as an Exclusive! If you have an old project that needs a new home, please consider listing it here on Barn Finds!

It’s a beautiful car, Walter. I’d love to own it. Sadly I already have one car too many without a/c. Since summers are becoming more and more permanent in my area it’s a must for me. Best of luck with your sale!

May I ask if you got it as a body and frame, why didn’t you add disc brakes in the front?

Nice car. Does the factory tach work. Why is thee a aftermarket tach there.

Odds are, like most tic-toc-tacs, the tach is non-functioning and with a rebuild cost at $500+ an aftermarket tach was added.
