EXCLUSIVE: 1972 Pontiac Le Mans Sport Convertible

This is one clean Pontiac! Donald A states that this drop-top Le Mans has seen just 50,700 miles since new and is in survivor condition. It looks to be in nice shape and could be a fun summer driver! So, if you’d love to give Donald’s Pontiac a new home, be sure to message him via the form below.

Asking Price: $$22,000
Location: Colerain, Ohio
Mileage: 50,700
Title Status: Clean

Seller’s Description: A true survivor with only 50,700 miles. Has never been repainted and all original with exception of the Crager wheels. It has a 400 V-8 and automatic transmission. Power top and everything works with the exception of the AM/FM flip radio.

Body Condition: Great condition! The body is all original and no rust or rot anywhere. Paint is a seven and in great shape for the age. The top is great condition, no rips or tears anywhere. Only modification is that I modified rear valance to have exhaust tips come thru which gives it a cleaner look in the rear. Motor compartment could be detailed to make even better, but again it is all original.

Mechanical Condition: Drives and rides like new. Brakes are good and runs straight and doesn’t sway on the road. The car has a 400 V8 engine with no issues and an automatic transmission which shifts smoothly and correctly. Nice riding car. The car is well maintained with no issues.

Our thanks to Donald for listing his Pontiac with us as an Exclusive! Hopefully, it goes to a good home where it can be enjoyed. If you have a survivor that needs a new home, please consider listing it here on Barn Finds!

Agreed. Very nice and nice color combo as well. I like the Cragars but would probably opt for the stock Pontiac wheels.

Too bad the red Firebird isn’t in this condition.

Good looking Pontiac there! Love the way it’s set up, wouldn’t change a thing.

Pontiac really built the sharpest looking rides for The General. She’s a beauty, and I love the Cragar’s. Can’t go wrong with Torque Thrust or Cragar on anything from the first muscle car era. GLWTA

What’s not to like? I think the price is right and the value will only rise if it is driven right and kept in as good a condition. I also like the color combo but a black interior in central Texas would be a bold choice for a potential buyer down my way.

    Car looks nice. A couple questions;
Looks like a 2 bbl air filter ?
    How is the chrome?
    How is the glass?
    Any documentation for the mileage??

    Thanks, Tom

It is a 2bbl but I have a correct four barrel intake and carb that I will let go with the car, The chrome is excellent on the car. The glass is also in excellent shape. I have all the papers and receipts from the original owner, Thanks for asking.
