EXCLUSIVE: 1997 Pontiac Trans Am Convertible

We’ve seen some interesting barn find convertibles lately, which is perfect given the time of year it is. Unlike many of those other finds, this one doesn’t need anything to be enjoyed. With just 30k miles on the clock, this Trans Am Convertible is ready for summer driving! Reader Jesse M, in Katy, Texas, has cleaned it up and gotten back on the road but has decided to let someone else start enjoying it. If you’d love to have it, be sure to contact him via the form below!

What Makes It Special? This Trans Am Convertible has been in a barn since 2005 and has 30,000 original miles. It’s super clean with plastic on the floor mats, all the stickers, all original and in running condition with the 6-speed transmission!

Body Condition: The body condition is all original. It’s the original color, never been wrecked or repainted. It has the original top. Everything on this car is original!

Mechanical Condition: The car is in good condition, runs and drives smooth, with nothing wrong.

This Trans Am sure cleaned up nicely, but with so few of miles, it really isn’t surprising. It sure would be interesting to know the story of how this car ended up being parked so soon in its life, but I for one am glad that it’s still in nice shape and is back on the road! Be sure to take a closer look and make Jesse an offer.

What a shame somebody painted those gold stripes on this car.
