Seven Fiat 850 Spyders For $2,000

Seven Fiat 850 Spyders

Now that summer is about here, it’s time to get ready to start enjoying some wonderful spring weather. If you ask me, there’s no better way of enjoying spring than in a convertible! One small convertible I’ve always been interested in is the Fiat 850 Spyder. They might not be the fastest Italian droptop, but their quirky looks and rear mount design really intrigues me. If I didn’t already have two convertible projects, I’d be highly tempted to buy this lot of seven 850s that Jamie P came across here on craigslist. They are all in rough shape, but with this many cars there has to be more than enough parts to build several complete cars. The best part is the seller is asking just $2k for the entire lot! Can you see yourself enjoying spring in one of these little Italians? Thanks go to Jamie for the tip!

Down… as in “Flagged for removal”

One of the unfortunate methods some people have of limiting exposure to ads, thereby decreasing competition for whatever is listed… Is to “Flag” a post. A bunch of times. From different IP’s if possible… Of course after having already gotten the pertinent information, including how to contact the seller.

CL’s automated system will pull the ad for a while, and notify the seller. But it can take days until the ad is back up. In the meantime, the “flagger” (aka A$$Hat) has time to make a deal without any other potential buyers intruding.

Really stinks, but is more common than you might think. Unless someone is advertising something that does not belong to them, or is a commercial enterprise posting as a private seller, you can see that there are few reasons for flagging a legitimate-appearing ad.

7 for $2K in a dry state seems like a bargain all right…

    When compared to this one:
