Some classic pickups are built for show, others for work—and then there are survivors like this 1967 Chevrolet C-10, listed here on craigslist out of Bend, Oregon, that have been revived with care to be a strong-running, reliable daily driver. With a clean title and showing 41,445 miles, this long-bed C-10 has spent roughly three decades in Central Oregon after previously living in Los Angeles, and the seller reports it remains largely original with just a small patch of rust under the driver’s side door. For a 58-year-old Chevy, that’s impressive. Thanks for the tip Rocco B.!

What sets this truck apart from many backyard refreshes is that the mechanical resurrection was handled by the Square Body Alliance, a group of experienced Chevy mechanics credited with bringing this classic back to life. Under the hood is a 327 small-block V8 with an Engle cam, and according to the seller, it has no trouble laying down rubber. Power is backed by a 4-speed Muncie manual transmission, paired with a rebuilt Hurst shifter, giving this pickup more of a muscle-era hot-rod vibe than a farm truck feel.

The seller provides a long list of new or upgraded components installed during the rebuild—items that help ensure it runs dependably rather than being a project-in-progress. The work includes a new water pump, timing chain and cover, thermostat, alternator, wiring updates, fuses, bulbs, and an HEI distributor with new plugs and wires. The cooling and heating systems received attention too, including a new heater core, control assembly, and more. Fuel and air delivery improvements include an Edelbrock 600 carburetor and new air cleaner, and an Interstate battery is onboard to keep things reliable.

Braking and safety weren’t overlooked either: the truck received a new master cylinder, wheel cylinders, drums, shoes, and brake lines. The slot-mag alloy wheels were refinished and fitted with new tires. Exhaust gaskets and brackets were replaced, and the truck now features modern driving conveniences such as a Bluetooth-equipped CD player and upgraded door speakers. The seller notes that the truck originally came with Mickey Thompson valve covers, Hedman headers, and—humorously—“live hornets,” which are no longer included in the package.

The seller is enthusiastic about the revival, even naming those who helped and thanking local parts sources for advice and parts support. This C-10 is being offered as a local cash sale only, with a clean Oregon title in the seller’s name. The asking price is $17,000, and the seller makes it clear there is no interest in low offers or casual tire-kickers.

With its mix of originality, mechanical investment, and strong running gear, this ’67 Chevy seems like a great find for someone who wants a classic truck that’s already sorted and ready to enjoy. Would you keep driving it as-is or take it further with cosmetic restoration?

I see a 3 speed on the column, unless I’m missing something?
Optical illusion Will, your seeing the window crank underneath the steering column. Makes it look like a three on the tree.
I stand corrected, thank you.
Hi Will
The shifter is in the floor!
Nice old truck that hasn’t been cut up or turned into a trailer queen boy’s toy. Just needs a few items ~ new driver’s side rocker panel, tach, dash pad, kick panel speakers, maybe a new steering wheel. $17K sounds a bit steep to me but he’ll probably get it. These things are getting harder to find in nice shape. Too bad it’s green.
I stand corrected, thank you.
Looks like the shifter is on the floor
