We try not to post the same find multiple times, although it does accidentally happen from time to time. The choice to feature this Cadillac Eldorado again is no accident though, the price has just dropped so much that it’s looking like an extremely good deal now. And let’s be honest, everyone here loves a good deal! It’s a rather special Eldorado, as it is the very first convertible built, but the first time we spotted it it was priced at $11k. This time around it’s listed at $5k, that’s a huge drop in the price! You can find it here on eBay in Wylie, Texas.
At the original asking price, it was right at what Hagerty values a #3 at, but with the major price drop it’s now well below #4 value. When you consider the seller is throwing in a parts car as well, this deal is looking pretty good to me. I’m not even a huge fan of these big drop tops, but I’m actually tempted to buy it. If only I had the space for it and a parts car! Since we already featured it once before, I’ll let you read more about it in the original post here.
Quite the car when restored…
If you have to ask what it gets for gas mileage….You CAN NOT afford to drive it.
If you have to keep front tires on it, you can’t afford to drive it. If you don’t like dashboard shimmy 2 inches side to side over bumps, you don’t want to drive it. I experienced that with a new one back then…ended up with a 71 Mark III instead.
To quote a friend “You can always sleep in the eldo, did you ever try to drive a house?

Um, no. The Eldorado started out as a convertible in 1953. The 1971 model was the first front-wheel-drive Eldorado convertible.
