Marmon Herrington 4×4: 1952 Ford F3

1952 Ford F3 4x4

Now this is a truck! Talk about an impressive piece of equipment. The seller lists it as a Power Wagon, but admits they did so to draw in more potential buyers. I can see though why Power Wagon buyers might be interested in buying this thing. It features a rugged 4×4 system capable of taking this thing anywhere. It sadly isn’t all original, as it was restored in the ’90, but it was professionally done to a very high standard. You can find this beast here on eBay in Saugatuck, Michigan. I’d love to it the road in this Ford, how about you?

The F3 is a beast compared to the F1. Unusual to see a good F3, as they were bought to “work.” I guess the $100k Ford Truck is coming for your checkbook.

Oh, come to Papa! Tell you what, I’ll take this and Howard can get a fully restored DT 201. We can take turns holding up traffic. In a perfect world….

Would I be out of line if I said I would drive this and not keep it as only a museum piece?

You wouldn’t get any backlash from me or any of my group. They’re made/restored to be driven. The only trailer queens are breakdowns.

I would do my best to wear the tires out, but I’m guessing that would take a while

My only question. Why go to the trouble to do all that nice work and then only paint the oil pan?

Nice truck, like the boots, not usually a Ford fan.

Josh what is sad about it not being original.i like the fact that it is not all original it means it is no longer a beat down rust bucket. They want a lot of money for it but it’s a lot of truck, and if it were mine I’d use it but I would not flog it. And I would not winter drive it. Nice find.
