The C-series of Chevy trucks was given the internal name Action Line for its second generation. Given its blend of work prowess, streetability, and wide range of features, it’s a fitting name. The example being offered here as a no-reserve Barn Finds Auction is a one-family-owned 1967 C10 and is ready to hit the street! Be sure to cast your high bids below, and you can find it in Springfield, Missouri.
This truck was purchased new by the seller’s father and has stayed in the family ever since. It’s been modified a bit and updated to make for a more comfortable and fun street truck. It started life as a long bed truck, but has been shortened and fitted with a stepside bed and several other body panels from a 1968 C10. The use of factory parts for the conversion is a huge plus, you just never know what the quality of reproduction parts will be.
The seller’s father passed the truck down to one of the seller’s nieces and her husband, who started the work on it. Her husband runs a restoration shop so they have the know-how to shorten the frame and even made the front panel and air dam, underhood panel between the grill and radiator support, and the rear tail light panel themselves. It looks nicely done and gives the truck a clean look. Unfortunately, they are having some health issues and couldn’t finish the project, so the seller purchased it and had it finished.
Like the exterior, the inside was also given some custom features during the restoration. It isn’t over the top or radical, mostly small things like custom gauges, more modern 40/60 split seats, and a Bluetooth radio. The most significant change is the addition of modern air conditioning, but that’s a huge bonus that makes this a more usable truck. If the next owner wishes to return it to stock, original-style parts are being reproduced. Overall, it looks like a comfortable place to be as is.
Power is provided by a rebuilt 350 V8 mounted to a TH350 automatic transmission. In ’67, the largest engine offered in the C10 was the 327, so this swap should provide a nice boost to performance. Within the past two years, the engine received a 4-barrel carburetor, manifolds, alternator, starter, and water pump. To help better handle the additional power, it’s equipped with power brakes, front disk brakes, and power steering. It’s in good running order and everything is said to work as it should.
The seller has receipts for a considerable amount of work done over the past three years. Copies of the receipts can be found in the photo gallery below. It appears that all the work needed to make this a good driver has already been done, so now all it needs is a good home where it can be driven and enjoyed! If you’d love to be its next owner, be sure to bid below. And leave any questions you might have for Paul in the comments section!

Nice chevy and with A/C…….bonus!
Nice clean modifications on a very nice truck.
Looks like a 68 to me. Very nice looking truck.
As noted in the description, several panels were borrowed from a ’68 parts truck.
It probably is a 68. Year 1967’s did not have front fender side clearance lights. Regardless, it is a beauty.
It’s a ’67. When it was being restored/customized, the bed and front panels were borrowed from a ’68.
Since when did they put side marker lamps 67s I had one it didn’t have them. They were mandated in 68 but this is a beautiful truck.
Nice looking truck. The ‘67 / ‘68 short bed Chevy pickups are my favorite, but I prefer the large rear window and fleetside bed.
67 is my least favorite of these, but this is a very nice example that thankfully isn’t over done. Reserved, subtle touches makes this an eye catching 1/2 ton.
The VIN denotes it as a 67, as does the small window, the last year that the Panoramic cab was an option, side marker lamps were an easily installed modification
All four fenders, hood, bed, and differential from same ’68 parts truck.
Nice work Paul.
Seems like a good deal at the moment. If I owned it, I would just drive it. Only thing different from a old school small block would be a big block if I was building it. But it’s a well done truck I would be proud to own.
