Here’s a project for someone wanting an air-cooled Porsche! The seller also has a large stash of other sports cars that may be worth a look.
What Makes It Special? I purchased this car off eBay with its non-original motor not running. I drove 500 miles to pay the seller who said he had another buyer. Looking at the car, I thought someone was in love with price Purple Rain but after researching I believe someone copied the color of the Porsche Jubilee Edition. This is just the beginning, there are other cars; ’67 BMW 2000cs, ’67 Alfa Duetto, ’71 Alfa GTV 1750, ’67 & ’69 Fiat Spiders, ’61 Simca Plein Ciel Coupe, two RR’s ’64 & ’84 limo, ’61 Alfa Touring, ’06 Big Dog Mastiff, ’86 Alfa Spider. Take it all for $344,000.
Body Condition: The body condition could use some rust repair or just drive it until you’re ready.
Mechanical Condition: The engine is a flat-four 1500cc running at the moment. Gas peddle linkage is stopping the car from driving and I’m going to fix that as soon as I can.

Same here, is it because it sold or something?
Cash waiting on one word of description
Technical difficulties, but all fixed now. Thanks guys!
Now that I’ve seen it what happened to the paint!! Looks like salt water corrosion!! It’s kind of good for me though cause a have a customer with an 83, 911 in her garage!! Hasn’t been driven since 86 ( last registration date on window) and I’m wondering what I should offer her for it!!! 4 flat tires and I’m sure it’s got bad gas!!!!
When I have bad gas I pop a couple of Tums. Drop a few in the tank and see what happens.
That isn’t a 912 unless someone spent a lot of time and money trying to make it look like a newer model
Well the Vin and Kardex would tell the tale but who would put those Eighties bumper and whale tail on a 66? If it has a 4 it must be……I guess. What a FrankenP-Car though.!
If someone does buy this for anything close to the ask, I’m gong to start selling ice to Eskimos
If that is a 1500 flat four it’s a VW type 4. Real 912s were 1600 slightly modified 356 engines. Price is way out of whack for this car.
