This Torino Sport has been parked in a shed in Terre Haute, California for many years. Sadly, the shed caved in on it and left a few scars. It also has some rust issues, but some of it has already been repaired. It still needs plenty of work, but it would sure be a sweet machine once it’s all finished. It’s packing a 351 V8 and an automatic, but that massive front end could house a 429! You can find this Ford here on eBay in Indianapolis, Indiana with a BIN of $7,500.
And it’s sold!
Shed cave in – bollocks – that damage was from when Barry Newman jumped it in ‘Fear is the key’
Cars in terra haute California go quickly.
I had a 72 Torino Cobra Jet in blue with the ugly stripe, it had a Q code 351 Cleveland That was scary fast.
My brother had a ’72 Ford Torino GT model with the sloped roofline (Sport model?) that was white with the gold laser stripe. I distinctly remember the 351CJ-4V because he scared the scream out of me driving it one time.
Ok is the car in California or Indiana
I love these Torino’s, A guy I knew in high school had an original Striped Tomato (Starsky and Hutch) car with a 460 .We have this road in town that runs along I 195 we called it the quater mile .Well one nite he let his buddy drive it and the kid rolled it. Sadly it. was totaled.
Sold for 7500?? It was on ebay last week for $4500 and didn’t sell! Wassup???
Strong money for a non-cobra jet, non-console rust bucket!!!
