A while back, Yvette at VanDerBrink Auctions told me about one of their upcoming auctions in Michigan and it looks incredible! I don’t think she even knew just how amazing Tom Brown’s collection of cars and parts was going to be until she saw it in person. She has just spent the past few days going through Tom’s barn and the mountains of parts he managed to hoard away. There are now more photos and more information about what all is here, so we decided to do a quick update so everyone can start preparing for this event! The auction is scheduled for August 25th, with onsite and online bidding, you won’t want to miss this one!
What a great view! And incredibly, there are even more amazing cars like this Corvette in the collection. There are 80 cars set to be auctioned off, plus the mountains of parts. I have a feeling there will be lots of bidders present just to get a big block engine. Yvette couldn’t believe all the LS6 engine blocks Tom acquired, so hopefully, there are plenty to go around!
It’s great to get a closer look at the cars and parts. Our thanks to Yvette for giving us an inside look at Tom’s estate and the auction. We might just have to make the trip all the way to Michigan to have a closer look!
All I can say is holy crap!!! Speechless after that
To paraphrase the old saying He who dies with the most toys, his relatives win.
wow!!!
Great stuff, but it looks more like a muscle car boneyard than a collection. And I am with benjy on this, needs a young pup to take over where Tom left off.
How does she walk past a 427 ‘Vette and not say a word!
Wonder if it is a 427/435 car? The white LT-1 Corvette and the orange 1972 Z/28 are also worth a look.
hey, we could have a Barn Finds convention in conjunction with the auction!
went to her site, it hasn’t changed in weeks
August 25th? This might be a lot more fun than Monterey Car Week.
Good God!!!
I;m absolutely blown away by this collection..These rides look in good & salvageable condition..if only I had the checkbook & space to go to the auction & go crazy. (without my wife)..lol
’46-7 Sedan Delivery for me! Yikes….thats more stuff in one place than it seems possible for anyone to collect . Just amazing!
if you go, you better bring a lot of money.
Uhhh ummm (drrooolll)… (more drool) Holy —– batman
OMG! Imagine if you inherited all that from you uncle. I do not have enough lifetime left to sort through and deal with all that stuff. But it would be fun to try.
I like the wagons, but I can guarantee that they are going to go for big bucks. The 2 door Chevelle wagon is very rare and desirable. This guy really loved his Chevelles!
