1964 Buick Wildcat For Just $2,500!

1964 Buick Wildcat

Listed here on craigslist Reno, Nevada and parked in Redding, California is this 1964 Buick Wildcat priced at just $2,500! The 401 cubic inch Nailhead V8 is what makes this cat so wild, as it produces an impressive 445 pounds of torque! If you are interested in this car we suggest you make contact with the seller ASAP!

We don’t know how many 445s are still around, but 1964 production numbers for the 2-door Sport Coupe was 22,893. This car is a “very clean all original untouched car” according to the owner. They don’t offer any of the car’s history, such as previous ownership, mileage, etc.  The owner does says that the body is straight with no rust, although we do see lots of “patina”.

The 445, air-cleaner is in place on the 401 Nailhead, the interior appears to all be there, the factory AC, power windows, windshield washer and we are told all the moldings are there with nothing missing. They claim, “very little needed to get running and on the road”. If so, this could be a killer deal for a high powered classic. The seller states the $2,500 asking price is firm and they are not interested in taking any trades. While we wouldn’t mind a little wiggle room in the asking price, it still seems like an incredible deal! So what are you waiting for?

Cheers,
Robert

I think it’s too high for some reason. Best wishes on the sale.

I love it! Patination – redo mechanicals, under hood, interior, safety items – rattle-can clear coat the paint; enjoy!

Maybe after a extended April 15 this Thursday, I’ll call seller for status/perforating rust???

Love it, now if I just had room for another project, this would definitely be coming to SC.

I wonder why it is listing to one side and isn’t patina another word for rust?

……one of my brothers owned one of these back in 1975….burgundy w/black interior and a black vinyl roof….I wasn’t old enough to drive, but loved being a passenger….that car was so comfortable….and (on chilly days) the heat was spectacular….

….he and three friends decided to take it out one snowy evening and perform slippery parking lot stunts until they found a light pole….

..sadly, the next stop was the salvage yard…

Factory A/C? Looks like dealer add on A/C. Also, even in the states with low rust, you have to watch for frame rust on these old Buick’s! But if it really does run and drive, the asking price is worth it.
