1966 Austin Healey Sprite For $400!

1966 Austin Healey Sprite

Disclosure: This site may receive compensation from some link clicks and purchases.

Sprites are great little cars! They are fun to drive, cheap to fix and easy to work on, but they are going up in value. This ’66 Sprite isn’t one of the desirable Bugeyes and it is in rough shape, but at just $400 it seems like it’s worth a look, even if it’s just for parts! The seller states the car was in a front end accident in the ’80s and has been sitting in his parent’s barn ever since. If you’ve been looking for a project to build into a race car or a parts car, you can find this one here on eBay in Florida, New York.

Wrecked Sprite

The seller doesn’t offer many images and it would be nice to have some images of the accident damage. It would be great to see how extensive the damage is before buying it, as it would determine whether it’s salvageable or not. These cars are so basic that if the damage isn’t too severe, it might even be worth restoring. So do you think this Sprite is worth saving or is it just a parts car?
