Sometimes, the most interesting thing about a car for sale are the vehicles it shares space with. This ’67 Porsche 912 here on craigslist in Florida doesn’t look like such a bad buy at $10,000 with minimal rust. I’m drawn to some of the other cars in the garage and additional pictures in the listings which show at least 2 Alfa Romeos under wraps. The seller seems to be pushing the next owner to modify the 912 as a vintage race car, even including a roll bar as part of the sale. Since the floor boards have already been replaced and it at least appears largely intact, I’d consider this an attractive restoration candidate before I’d gut it as a track car. What would you do? Thanks to Barn Finds reader Robert R for the find.

Crazy to think that $10k seems like a bargain for a 912. Looks like it is owned by an Alfa guy. I’d try to pick it up before it hits eBay though.
Jesse, I’m going to guess current owner hasn’t been watching the Pcar trend on eBay! Hurry!!
yes watch the price jump after it gets posted on ebay.
I’m sure I’m too late but I’m going to make a move on this one.
someone better jump on this one, if it hits ebay, it’s going to go thru the roof as far as price! these pcars are bringing big bucks on ebay even in this condition or worse condition. buy it now!
Five days on CL and still up for sale. I’m surprised like everyone else that it hasn’t been snapped up already, since surely there are lots of P-car fans in the Southeast. Based on the values of the early SWB cars, even the entry level 912, this should be a real buy.
That said, I saw one of these start up and drive off the other day….in a cloud of noise and smoke. It reminded me of most other impressions that I have had of early 912s—-very appealing to look at, but the running and driving just aren’t for me, unfortunately.
