While this neglected Dodge has spent a lot of time in a barn, it does have some pretty neat features. It’s offered here on eBay in Spring Hill, Florida, with the price being $4,300. The seller makes a big deal about the grille being intact, so I’m guessing more knowledgeable Mopar fans can comment on that. They have also included a photo album here. Unfortunately, there’s no title available, which may be a problem for some buyers. This Mopar has been sitting in a barn for 15 years just waiting for someone to come rescue it—is there a Barn Finds reader that fits the bill?
As you can see, the barn this Challenger came out of was full of cars. I would love to know the full story here and what is happening to the rest of the cars!
You misprinted: it’s a 1971, not a 1973.
Thanks for catching that Mitchell!

Well. I see 2 excellent 3in1 speakers, a 12 pack of Bud, now all we need is a car.
What’s what appears to be a large piece of sheetmetal sticking out of back bumper ??
The idea behind the grille being important is that ’71 is a one year only grille with the split in the center. The current retro look Challengers are also featuring this split grille…. I’m also pretty sure you could find a grille for far less that what he’s asking for the whole car…if that’s what you’re after.
@Leon, that is the old school rear spoiler. ;-\
This is a good example of how Chrysler finished the quarter panel to roof joints, very cude even for the time period.
I think the bumper sticker says it all, A Pig
Nothing but bad news here.
Way too rusty to consider. For anyone. No title. No rare parts. No way. It will probably find a buyer, though.
it might have been a nice car in it’s prime, but, not any more would try a car with collision damage over this one
71s are actually my least favorite year because I’ve never cared for that grill treatment. I was not thrilled to see it emerge once again on the current retro look Challengers….
