While this Citroen was built in 1988, you would think it was built in the ’50s, but that’s likely because these cars didn’t change much over their 41 year production run. This example is one of the final versions of the car before production ended and by this point, they had most of the bugs worked out. While they are rather quirky, these little cars will run and run! With just 16k miles on the clock, it should have a lot of life left in it! The seller claims it will need a light restoration, but it needs rust repair, so it may end up being more than a little work. I’ve always thought the 2CV was the most UNconventional looking car made in any numbers. Takes a special person to drive one of these. They do have a loyal following and even have all 2CV races, which they do surprisingly well. ( you’d think they would topple over in the turns) I highly doubt the km claim, and I’d bet this car was driven more than they say. Doesn’t get much weirder than this.
