This 1969 Chevrolet Corvette has only one day left here on eBay with a Buy It Now Price of $19,500. The seller is located in New Hartford, New York and states that he believes the engine is numbers matching. With a maroon exterior and 4-speed transmission, this car looks really sweet.
The car appears to be a survivor and has been stored for the last seven years. The 350 cubic inch engine was first introduced in 1969 in the Corvette but the seller does state that this is not the base engine but is the optional higher 350 horsepower engine. The stereo has been changed to a dual post cassette player.
The car has recently received a new gas tank, sending unit and tune-up. The car also sports chrome side pipes which could be added by the dealer in 1968-1969. Unless they are aftermarket tires, the Goodyear Eagle ST tires will probably be replaced. I have not seen a set like that since around 1982.
The paint is presentable but does have a few scratches. The number of Corvettes sold in 1969 topped 38,000 units and would not cross the 38,000 unit mark again until 1975. This Corvette presents itself as a fairly unmolested model of one of the most popular Corvettes ever made. Let us know what you think of C3s and their values.
