This car was previously listed on craigslist earlier this month but now is listed here on eBay. The car is a 1977 Pontiac Firebird Esprit with only 60,000 miles. With 24 bids, the car has not reached the seller’s reserve but it has been bid to $6,700 with 1 day remaining in the auction. The Firebird is being sold by the second owner and is located in Auburn, New Hampshire.
The car is equipped with a Chevrolet built 305 cubic inch V8 engine and power is transferred to the rear end through a 3 speed automatic transmission. The Esprit model was one level up from the base Firebird and 34,548 were produced in 1977. The car is equipped with air conditioning, deluxe red interior, 8 track tape player and power windows. Aftermarket stereo speakers have been installed in the door panels.
The body shows a number of dents and scrapes on the lower part of the car. The front driver’s side fender has been hit which has caused the front end bumper cover to be offset. The car does come with some documentation including its build sheet.
The pictures shown on the eBay ad are much nicer than the Craigslist ad that has expired. The car appears to be rust free and a clean driver. Without knowing the reserve, I would say the bidding is getting close to market value. What would you bid?

After three tries, if the $7300 bid is legit, s eller should be happy to take the money and run. It’s looks to be a decent car but it’s common and pretty basic.
What is the reserve bid? Is it in Canadian or US dollars? If this car is still available, I may be interested.
