My parents owned two ’67 Mustangs while I was growing up—I remember washing the original wheel covers like the ones on the left side of this car (there are 1965 covers on the right side) and cutting my fingers on the edges of the holes. This car is currently in Burlington, Iowa and is offered here on eBay with a buy-it-now of $6,000 and current bidding at just over $2,000. This appears to be a relatively solid car, a real barn find with 44k original miles, a 289 V8 and only a little rust, although I wish the seller had included pictures of the rust. I would want to see some more pictures before I committed much money towards this one, but it might be a good one to look into. Any interest out there?

Doesn’t look too bad for a driver, I enjoyed the Toyota body panel cardboard in the trunk.
Pics of the engine bay would have been helpful. Decent body for the age.
Well, it looks like the chance to pick it up for $6k has passed. Bidding is up to $5k and the seller has removed the Buy It Now option. Oh well.
6K seems like it was a great deal.
Buy it now opportunity passed due to barnfinds.com traffic
at $5000 with 6 days to go. i think this is going to get costly. i too think someone should have hit the BIN while it was still an option. great find.
I am also surprised that no one jumped on the $6K buy-it-now option and can’t wait to see what it sells for.
I highly doubt the mileage claim. It would be worthy of inspection if you were close enough. Otherwise not a rare enough piece to take a chance on without inspecting.
Nice rideuse it like it is until such time as I desided exactaly what route to take with it. I I had three 67 in the 80’s one driver one concour and one modified, so that is why I would have to ponder it for a while..
Eh, decent price. If only I could get a fastback for that price and condition.
With a sale price of $6200 the BIN price wasn’t too far off. And I’m firmly in the group that believes the actual mileage to be 144k miles…
