Barn Yard 1973 Dodge Challenger

barn-yard-1973-challenger

This Challenger project gets an honorable mention, not because it’s a bargain, but because of what is in the photo. Many people try to stage their cars as “barn finds”, but this guy didn’t even have to try. The goats wandering around the Dodge clearly qualify this one as a barn yard find. Thanks goes to reader Mark H. who found the car on Spokane’s craigslist and pointed out the little tin nibblers. The $5,500 asking price might be a little steep, but that does include a 440. Too bad these only came with the 318 or 340 in ’73, but still…

Obviously a project, Although cars from that area are generally pretty solid it needs a full resto and the non matching engine doesn’t help. But people pay silly money for Mopars.

Al I can say is that I wouldn’t want to be near that if there were some mature billy goats around. You’d never be able to get the stench out of the car…

…… isn’t painting the goat to match the car going a little overboard?!

A 73 Challenger is a pretty cool car. I would make an offer if it were nearby. My son is a good wrench & I am good at body & paint, so it would be wise purchase. On the other hand, if you had to pay professional prices for the work it needs $$$$$$$$ will be out the door.
