Update 9/11/2018 – Tom just contacted us to let us know that the Oldsmobile is still available and that he’s motivated to sell it, so be sure to message him with an offer via the form below!
For the past 50 years, this Oldsmobile has been with Tom F’s family. It’s been well cared for during that time, even receiving a complete restoration about 15 years ago. The time has unfortunately come for it to go to a new home, so Tom is hoping a fellow reader will give it a good home! This Export Model F28 Roadster is believed to be one of only a few left, so I hope one of you does snag it. It’s been parked since the restoration and is going to need work to get it running again, but Tom is including a ton of spare parts for it. Be sure to use the form below to contact Tom about buying it!
What Makes It Special? This is a rare classic vehicle with only 5 left in the world. This has been in my family for over 50 years! It turned 90 years old this year. It is a true collectors dream car because it is rare
Body Condition: The body was restored and painted approx 15 years ago. It is still in great shape as it was stored in a heated garage since then. The paint is original colors used in 1928 cream, black, green. These were reproduced in ICI from the original Dupont formula. The seats need to be re-sewn or replaced. The top needs replaced. There is no rust on this vehicle
Mechanical Condition: The mechanical is where the restoration is required. The engine has not started in 20 years. The transmission and wiring harness are all there but need attention. There are 3 pallets of parts that come along with the vehicle.
- Asking Price: $15,000 Canadian

Nice car! Hope it goes to a loving home…
Does it have a rumble seat?
Judging only by what I can see, this lovely car might well have been worth more before the paint was “restored”.
It was “restored” except the top, interior, and wiring?
How do you no there’s only 5, couldn’t there be others in a BARN somewhere?
Very nice car! I really hope that it gets a good home and finished!
