Here’s a 1967 Pontiac GTO project that looks rough at first glance but comes with a long list of parts that could save its next owner a serious amount of time and money. Listed on eBay as a private sale, this real-deal ’67 GTO carries VIN 242077P147314 and is being offered as a roller with no engine or transmission currently installed.

The seller describes it as a solid foundation with a “huge head start,” and much of that head start comes in the form of brand-new sheet metal. Included in the sale are new Dynacorn door shells for both sides, full rear quarter panels for both sides, a new hood, rear filler panel, nose panel, floor pans, and a new tail light panel. A spare deck lid is also included, with the original plan being to repair the factory lid using metal from the spare. That kind of sheet metal package represents a significant investment on its own.

Original Rally wheels are included with the car, although the wheels currently shown in the photos are not part of the deal. The listing also mentions a second radiator core and many additional parts that will go with the project. Cosmetically, the exterior photos show the car covered in dust with paint damage and areas of missing paint. However, the seller notes there is no major body damage or major rust, which is encouraging for a car of this era.

With the included replacement panels, this GTO appears to be positioned as a build-ready platform rather than a simple cleanup job. It’s important to note that the car is being sold with a bill of sale only and does not include a title. Prospective buyers will want to verify what that means for registration in their state before moving forward.

For those looking to go beyond stock, the seller also mentions a strong-running 383 stroker engine and Powerglide transmission that could be negotiated into the deal, though they are not included unless an agreement is reached. With major sheet metal already on hand and a clean GTO VIN, this project could appeal to anyone wanting to build a ’67 GTO their own way. Would you restore it back to factory form, or turn it into a modernized restomod?

Chevrolet motors only belong in Chevrolets and Fords, not Pontiacs
Agreed with that statement. This is a manual car too! or was.
Unless it’s a Canadian Pontiac.
The seller is a great salesman.
In general Chevrolet engines only belong in Chevrolets. Only the cheap Chevy guys put the small block Chevy boat anchors and LS’s in Fords or anything else. If you want a Chevy, buy a Chevy. This should be Pontiac powered. If they skipped on cost with the engine, what else is done cheap on the project.
I don’t get it. Seller says no rust or body damage. Why buy all those body panels??
10k and no bids. this will be an expensive venture to bring this back from its current state. to be somewhat true you would need to find a date correct motor and trans or roll the dice and swap in a good poncho drive train. then body and paint, interior. next thing you know 80k is gone into this. shame the 67 got this point.
10 grand is all I’d do. And reserve not met. Wondering ?
I am wit TC no rust but all those replacement panels cool car good thing those wheels are not included the look like clown wheels original rally wheels would be so much better why not include prices in the write up
