Will there ever be a day when the classic early 90s Ford Bronco isn’t a sought after collector’s item? It seems too easy, now, to simply pick one of these up in decent condition and throw it on eBay for a healthy profit. Now, in the case of this example, the seller is the longtime owner, so this is less of a flip and more of a stroke of good fortune that his or her daily driver has become a desired commodity. The Bronco has 157,000 miles, so it’s clearly been used and bucks the trend of these trucks showing up almost exclusively as time-warp specimens. This Bronco has clearly been loved considering how clean it is against the mileage shown, and it’s listed here on eBay with no reserve and bidding over $16,000.
While Broncos by and large look the same, there are some subtle cosmetic tweaks seen here that can help distinguish one generation from another. The first detail I notice is the body-colored bumpers. This is a big difference visually from the chrome bumpers we’re more accustomed to seeing, and almost makes the Bronco feel slightly more refined and high-grade as a result. I’m not sure if this was a factory option or the seller’s personal touch, but I like it. Tires are new and are off-road capable BFG K02 tires with 300 miles on them. The suspension has clearly never been messed with, as this Bronco appears to ride at stock height. The seller confirms there’s never been any body damage and the hardtop has never been removed.
The interior is in nice shape, featuring front bucket seats and a large center console. The door panels and dash look quite clean as well, and the seller confirms that this Bronco was kept indoors and rarely driven in foul weather. No snow and barely any rain, according to the seller. The Bronco is also said to have been elderly-owned, and based on the description of the Bronco having been in one-family ownership since new, it seems likely that an heir is selling the truck along after a parent stopped driving or passed on. The later Broncos may still look dated inside, but they’re far fresher than the models that came just a few years earlier.
The engine bay cleans up well, especially for a truck with nearly 160,000 miles. The seller maintains that the Bronco has only been touched by a local Ford dealership, so hopefully there are some accompanying records that confirm this. The 5.8L V8 engine will still deliver respectable performance today, and shouldn’t break the bank in the long run when it comes to keeping up with the maintenance. While I can’t say anyone that owns a Bronco should sell it, this generation does seem to be on tear as of late where there’s seemingly always a buyer ready to lay down some cash to put a survivor-grade example like this in their garage.
It’s located in Garden Grove,California.
If you buy this,be prepared for the OJ comments….
Is there anything good left on the east coast?
I was just gonna say… ,never mind.
Can there ever be a day when a 90’s white Bronco can be sold without the mention of a two letter football player?
Not until long after 2094.
I’d be on this if it was one of the rare black glove limited edition models !
You wouldn’t fit.

It is an amazing time we live in. Say what you want but the man like him or not his choice of get away vehicle still resonates with people. The Bronco in this vintage it pretty forgettable. Put someone famous in one and involve a spectacular low speed police chase. Now it is collectible. White examples are the top of the food chain.
Simpson, eh? I’ll remember that name,,
Simpson Mr. Howard. A surname made famous by a soldier with a donkey in WW1, then dragged through the mud by some stoopid clown in a white Ford Bronco. I prefer to remember the hero with the donkey!
I had a friend who bought a new, red 25th anniversary model, with the 302. He had also recently bought a house. One day he said he needed to buy some lumber, to build a shed. In jest, I said, we can just take out the grey leather seats, put down the bare metal tailgate, and just SLIDE everything in. Uhh..no. So, we took my 1979 Ford F-150, instead.
I’m only here for the comments. This one should have some good ones.
Well, then, the sale price should have you in stitches,, :)
Sold for $18,700
I wonder if OJ thought to send a letter to Ford saying what a great almost get away car the Bronco was?
Going 7 mph didn’t help.
White Broncos from this era will always be linked to OJ and the Chase. Let’s be honest, that probably was the very first thing you thought of when you looked at it.
It was the first thing I thought of. BTW, that’s why you should have coffee with breakfast………(wait for it)….because OJ will kill you
all jokes a side this guy is crazy and the person that buys it is just as nuts there was a barnfind last year of one with less than 100 miles went for few dollars more than this 157k mileage one
unless it was OJ’s Bronco its a high mileage truck
I owned a 96 two tone silver with black anniversary paint addition and it was an awesome ride and awesome vehicle to own. Year end clearance at $19,500. Would buy again for sure, in fact at that price, I would buy 2.
