If you’ve been working on a first generation Bronco, here’s your chance to pick up a couple parts vehicles. Surprisingly the seller seems honest about the fact that they may be too far gone for restoration, but I guess that will be up to the new owner. Found here on eBay with a current bid of $905, they are located in Manns Choice, Pennsylvania. Check out these Broncos and see if you think they are worth saving.
The blue Bronco is a 1970 and and doesn’t have an engine, but comes with a transmission. You can see in the first photo that the driver’s door doesn’t fit well anymore and the body seems to be buckled. Perhaps the rust has made it to the frame and it has lost its integrity?
The red one is a 1974 and comes with a 6-cylinder engine along with a manual transmission. As you can see, there seems to have been parts removed from each of these Broncos already. Perhaps they were used as parts vehicles for another project and this is what’s left over? If you are interested in these Broncos for anything besides parts, an in-person inspection is probably in order. So, what do you think the fate of these two will be?
Maybe a few parts but, otherwise, not much left.
Up to 2K now and I see at least that much in parts, but hauling them all the way back to Kansas City would not make it $$$ wise.
Looks like a job for Tasker.
these look typical or a bit better than most rust-belt Broncos.
so many were used as plow trucks year after decade until they broke in half when their frames rusted through.
i’d load these up on a trailer & get them off seller’s property for a few grand happily.
i’m clueless on bodywork for the most part but about anything needed is readily available including sheetmetal.
i love the way the trucklets look lifted, even more than the full cab models.
if the titles really do come with then some (significant) sweat equity could create a sweet machine
“Hey Paw,, lookin’ at the inneractive tv, it’s time to sell them old Bronco parts, go fetch the loader and a chain”,,,,
all is available now aftr mrkt.
Some would want the glove bx door
as that’s where my VIN is.
That’s just a warranty tag. You need the frame vin.
