We have featured several first-generation Broncos lately and they have come in different colors and ranged from rotisserie restored examples to original unrestored projects. If I was looking for a 1966-1977 Bronco, this would be my pick. The blue on parchment white 1975 Ford Bronco is an honest, usable example. Powered by a 302 cubic inch V8 engine, this 1977 4WD Ford Bronco is for sale here on eBay. The Bronco is located in Sacramento, California, and has been bid to $14,100 with 3 days left in the auction.
The base engine for 1975 for the Ford Bronco was 200 cubic inch inline six-cylinder engine. The optional engine was a 302 cubic inch V8 engine which is what powers this Bronco. The engine is shifted using a column-mounted three-speed manual transmission and the four-wheel-drive gear selector is mounted on the floor. The front seats need to be recovered but the floors and dash look fine.
Production numbers dropped in 1975 to only 13,125 Broncos compared to 25,824 units sold in the bicentennial year of 1976. The Bronco is said to run well in the eBay description and shift through all the gears without a complaint. The four-wheel-drive system is all in order and the seller said that mechanically, the Bronco needs nothing.
This Bronco looks like a fun and useable vehicle that can be driven and enjoyed while prices keep increasing. A buyer could fix it up incrementally or just enjoy the V8 power and off-road adventures. What is your preference? Would you buy a showroom condition Bronco and spend less and get a driver to enjoy?
Dual fuel tanks too. Nice package.
please explain to me whats so great about these cheap ugly rust bucket broncos! they were ugly bottom of the barrel 4x4s when new! think they got better with age! ya right!
Nice clean looking Bronco. New cab/body mounts indicate it wasn’t rusted in a crucial area that are prone to rusting out.
Where do those trim pieces go in one of the pictures of the extra parts?
This extra trim pieces are hold down pieces that go along the edge of the door jam etc.
Can’t believe that there are some of these on e-bay bid up to close to 50K! So many I saw in the junkyard back in the day that I could have saved and sold now as is!
At least it’s a running driving truck that’s not rusted to death!! Needs work but I’ve actually seen some go for six figures when done restomod style!!
I like this color scheme.
Hoping that this is offered on the new model.
If harbor blue (code7) becomes available, I’ll be a buyer.
