1965 and 1963 Greenbriar Van package

Greenbriar Vans

Here we have a pair of Greenbriars, or Corvair vans, offered as a pair. The gold one is the 1963, with few options but a nice body. The 1965 is the Deluxe version, has lots of options, but has rust. Both run. What could be done with these? The seller suggests turning the 1963 with the good body into a Deluxe clone by taking stuff off the 1965. A windshield for the 1963 is included in the sale. In any case, there are no pictures to show the condition of either van, so I would think a close in person inspection would be necessary if anyone is near Hinckley, Illinois, before making a serious bid. The bids here on eBay are up to only $950 with the reserve not met. Really nice examples can sell for $5,000 to $6,000. Knowing as little as we know about the condition of these, how much do you think these are worth and what would you do with them?

I know there must be a lot of vehicles that I would never want but someone does and this fits that perfectly. I just never saw the attraction.

Funny that the gold one has body damage on both sides low behind the rear wheels. Kinda like King Kong picked it up with thumb and first finger…

The 65 is one rare van very few made the last year think like under 500 and is the rarest of all corvairs

      Beautiful van.
Reserve not met at auction end, $36,200!

I can recall only seeing one 8-door up close in my life, and that was over 30 years ago.
