I love a good no reserve auction! You never know, you could pick up a great find on the cheap. Take this 1966 Austin Healey Sprite, which is currently listed here on eBay. Bidding only has a few hours left and the price is still well below the $1k mark. These aren’t the most valuable sports car out there and its condition is a bit of an unknown, but at a price like this it might be worth taking the risk! It clearly has damage to the driver’s side fender, but otherwise looks solid! Even if the engine were beyond repair, parts for Sprites are easy to find and typically cheap. So at this price, would you take a risk on this Sprite?

I’d be more comfortable in the purchase if I could see all the door gap both front and back of the door. The tires are covered in mud all the way around. It may not have set out on the ground ( moisture ) for years, but been pulled through it. Pictures of the under-carriage would answer that question.
sold at $1325. someone got a good deal.
I agree Peter; if they are going to be bad it will be there and also around the front spring hanger though I like the look of this early Mk2.
