This sad Westie is listed here on craigslist for only $1,500. You may notice the rear is a little light. Perhaps the lack of an engine is to discourage the dog from driving? This van seems to be in “camo” but I believe the tent is not visable because, like the engine, it’s not there. The transmission is reported to have been making “knocking” sounds. The good news is that it’s said to have very little rust.

There is no obvious rust in the pictures and the interior doesn’t look too shabby. Most likely a flipper will buy this and install a used engine and tranny and perhaps bumpers. If there truly is little rust, perhaps this could be a great deal for someone. Good used engines around here are about $1,500 and another few hundred for a transaxle or $800 for a rebuilt. This is just across town from me, so if someone is interested, I’d be glad to have a look and take some pictures.
